I was looking for stainless steel marine cameras for our leisure boat. My wife and I own a pleasure boat that is 53 feet in length. In the wheelhouse we have the Rugged marine brand of American made waterproof monitors and we are replacing the substandard cameras that came with our boat. I want pan, tilt and zoom (PTZ) capability on every exterior camera. We found everything we wanted from this Texas based manufacturing company. It is nice to get quality American made electronics. Our long zoom infrared cameras help us light up the night and see like it is daylight. The cameras zoom and see in complete darkness. Our monitors are fully protected from water intrusion as well as the cameras. My friend works at an Arctic research station and has a web cam of sea ice formations. I told him about the Polar cam available from this company that is internally heated to 50 below and has a built in wiper to clear the glass of the exterior housing. This company cannot be beat for any application that needs surveillance cameras.

The market for used yachts for sale tends to fluctuate with the economy. After all, a costly yacht is more of a toy than a necessity. You may find people putting their boat up for sale not because they don’t enjoy it anymore, but because they can’t afford the maintenance costs or they want some fast cash. It’s possible to find a bargain yacht in bad economic times, but don’t let a low price cloud your judgment. No matter what the asking price is for the yacht, make sure that the boat passes a detailed and in-depth inspection before signing the sales agreement. One of the nice things about yachts in general is that they come in so many sizes and styles that there is something to suit almost everyone. Be patient in your search, and you are sure to find a boat that meets your standards. If you’re going to spend a lot of time on the water, you will certainly want a yacht with a nicely outfitted cabin, and you may be willing to pay more to have that extra comfort.

First established in Queensland, Australia back in 1970s, GME quickly rose to fame in the marine industry because of their high-quality radios, antennas, and stereo units. These days, the company is recognized as one of the global leaders because of their innovative products.
Founder Ted Dunn credits all of this to the idea of fusing firsthand mariner experience with engineering expertise. Being an avid boater himself, he often encountered sound and communication difficulties while exploring the waters. When he couldn’t find anything on the specialty stores that specifically met his needs, he went ahead and created one instead.
To cut the story short, the products eventually became a big hit among the buying public and the company became a household name among boating enthusiasts. On top of that, modern internet technology has also made it much easier for buyers to find these essential marine devices at once if they want to order via online methods.
