You know how the worst kids behave in the store – they run around, try to pull everything off the shelves, want to buy out the whole children’s section or get into temper tantrums and roll on the floor. Sometimes you feel that your children are not behaving well but you do not know what you can do to remedy the problem. One thing to understand is that teaching proper behavior starts well before you actually get into the store. You need to get your children to understand the proper rules and expectations even before you get to a particular situation. For example, if you are going to a restaurant or to the mall, you need to tell your kids exactly what it is that you do not want them do. In addition, you will need to explain to them what the consequences will be if they misbehave. If they do not listen to you, you can simply get your things and leave.

Some sports fans don’t believe in sports curses but others are completely convinced that a good sports curse should be to blame for the lack of success of their favorite team. There are many curses out there that have been holding back teams and fans alike for decades. Some good examples are: the curse of the Bambino, the Madden curse, the Billy Goat curse, the William Penn curse and a few others. One of the most prominent sports curses is the curse of the Colonel. In 1985, after the Hanshin Tigers won in the Japan Champion Serios, some Tiger fans stole the statue of Colonel Sanders from a nearby Kentucky Fried Chicken and threw it in a canal. During the next seventeen years, the Tigers had a really bad streak and finished last in most of these years. Everybody thought that their lack of success was due to the Colonel’s anger for the disrespect in throwing his statue. The statue was recovered in 2009, ending the bad omen.
